- In the earliest internal testings of development, the project was known as "Ragnarok" and later "Longshot". This was so early in fact that the mage theme had not even been properly established yet, as melee viking combat was also being considered, but it was decided that it was unfeasible to make a melee weapon work with ranged spells.
