Frozen Character Model

In Spellbreak, there are a variety of Status Effects that inhibit a player's ability to perform certain actions.

The majority of status effects are applied through various Elemental Interactions. But they can also be applied through Runes, Talents or specific Class Skills.

The following tables describe how permissible an action is under a Status Effect.

Pull                                                        
Players caught in a Tornado are pulled towards the center of its vortex. The pull is stronger while airborne.
Lightning Bolt.png
Shock
Shock lasts for 2 seconds, and grants shock immunity for 5 seconds after application.
Flash Freeze.png
Freeze
Freeze lasts for up to 2 seconds, and breaks if they take damage from any source except puddles.
Grants freeze immunity for 5 seconds after application.

Slow
Slowed players have their movement speed lowered by 50% immediately if touching a Toxic Puddle.
If in a freezing effect it increases gradually over 1.5 seconds instead, and affects casting speed as well.

Levitate                                                        
Levitating consumes 55% max mana per second. Each levitate consumes a minimum of 35% max mana, even if cancelled early.
Adds a 1.5s delay to Mana Recharge while in the air.
Leaves an afterglow trail behind the player.

Dodge
Ice Puddles accelerate the player up to a fixed 24 Run Speed.
Dash Rune.png
Dash
Dash carries downward momentum. This means your speed from gravity will be transferred into the speed of the dash if you activate it before hitting the ground.

Featherfall
Featherfall's slow descent ends upon casting Spells or Sorceries.
Flight Rune.png
Flight
Flight can be cancelled prematurely either by jumping or hitting terrain.

Chronomaster Rune.png
Rewind
Rewinding will cleanse a player of any current status effects and is immune from being applied new ones or taking damage.

Exile
Exiling a player eliminates them from the match.
Will be interrupted upon taking damage.
Channel duration: 6.5 seconds.
Revive.png
Revive
Reviving a player returns them to life with 40 health. Will not be interrupted upon taking damage.
Channel duration: 5 seconds.

Resurrection
Players can Resurrect their exiled allies once per new safe zone they enter.
They drop into the Hollow Lands with full health, but without any Equipment or Large Health Potion.png Consumables.
Will be interrupted upon taking damage.
Channel duration: 12 seconds.

Recall
Recalling returns the player to The Merchant and restores health and armor to full. Spawns them above their recall location after purchase.
Will be interrupted upon taking damage.
Channel duration: 6 seconds.

Recharge
The player enters a hover state when aiming sorceries or Ice Lance.png Ice Lance while airborne.
Hovering pauses the cooldowns of Sorceries & Runes as well as mana recharging. Hovering doesn't pause the mana recharge delay from levitate.
Spell-inputs cancel it.
Max Hover duration: 5 seconds.
Max usages in air: 3

Ice lance
Charging Ice Lance decreases Run Speed, but increases Ice Lance's mana cost, velocity and damage (full at 1.75 s). Charge-up is audible to nearby players.

Invisibility Rune.png
Invisibility                                                        
Invisibility makes a player's character model faintly translucent and removes their trail when levitating. Their footsteps can still be heard. Persists through all channels, but breaks upon casting or taking damage.

Outline
Outline highlights players as bright red.
If outlined by Wolf'sBlood Rune.png Wolf's Blood or Tracking.png Tracking, they can also be seen through walls, terrain and Invisibility.
Rebirth.png
Immunity
Immunity makes a player invulnerable to all damage but the Storm. Cleanses the player of most current status effects, but not future ones.
Some runes may remain active during immunity.
Fire Icon.png
Ignite
Ignite deals 4 damage per second for 2 seconds. Is applied by taking fire damage from any source.
Toxic Icon.png
Corrosion
Corrosion deals 4 damage per second to armor only for 3 seconds. Is applied by taking toxic damage from any source except Toxic Puddles.
Disrupted Orb.png
Disruption
Disruption turns the player into a glowing orb for up to 90 seconds upon taking lethal damage, limiting them to only slow movement.

They can either be
Resurrect Icon.png revived with 40 health by an ally, or Exile Icon.png exiled prematurely by an opponent.
